Music icon Elton John has officially concluded his touring career, marking the end of an extraordinary journey that lasted over fifty years. The 76-year-old artist delivered his final performance at Stockholm’s Tele2 Arena, bringing his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour to a close, a venture that enchanted millions around the globe.

During the poignant finale, Elton reflected on his illustrious career and expressed heartfelt appreciation to his fans. “Words cannot adequately convey how remarkable my journey has been,” he remarked before concluding the concert with “Your Song” and “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.” “For 52 years, I have been fortunate to create music and perform live, but none of this would have been achievable without your support. Following the show, Elton took a moment to acknowledge his fans for their steadfast support. “You have been with me throughout this journey, demonstrating patience, loyalty, and love,” he stated. “Tonight was unforgettable, and while it is difficult to bid farewell to touring, I will always cherish the memories of your affection and enthusiasm in my heart.”

The evening was also filled with surprises, including a touching video message from Coldplay’s Chris Martin. “Elton, on behalf of every artist you’ve inspired and every fan who adores you, we wish you a joyful retirement,” Martin expressed.
