Playground Trend Leaves 11-Year-Old Boy “Resembling An Alien” – Mother Issues Serious Warning to All Parents

During childhood, it is common for individuals to engage in reckless behavior. Growing up entails learning to avoid potentially hazardous activities.

Regrettably, children are susceptible to peer pressure and various influences; even the most intelligent youngsters can be swayed into participating in dangerous actions.

Consider the case of Tyler Broome’s parents, who faced the aftermath of their son’s severe injuries after he attempted the “roundabout of death,” a viral trend popularized on YouTube.
The name itself reveals much about the activity, but for Tyler, it was less about performing a daring feat and more about showcasing his courage to his peers.
After enduring extreme gravitational forces (G-force), the 11-year-old sustained injuries akin to those experienced by fighter pilots.

The “roundabout of death” trend involves participants sitting in the center of a playground roundabout while a motorcycle’s rear wheel propels the apparatus at high speeds.
Tyler was discovered unconscious at the roundabout shortly after the incident, potentially suffering from brain and eye injuries.

Intense Forces
It is believed that he encountered G-forces comparable to those experienced by pilots and astronauts.
Tyler and a friend were reportedly at a local park when a group of older teenagers approached them and challenged them to join their activity.

Distressing Experience
“I hardly recognize my child – he is on the brink of having a stroke. Tyler was on the roundabout, and the boy who approached him was around 17 years old. Tyler does not know him; they are not friends,” his mother, Dawn, stated, as reported by the British newspaper The Independent.

“He placed his motorcycle on the ground and got the roundabout spinning at an alarming speed. Once they all stopped, the group simply dispersed – it was bullying.”

Dawn mentioned that the medical staff at the hospital had never encountered injuries like her son’s and needed to conduct some research before they could start his treatment.
The injuries sustained were so severe that he resembled the Elephant Man. Such a condition has not been encountered previously, prompting the creation of a medical report.

His head has swollen significantly, blood vessels have ruptured, and his eyes appear otherworldly. His vision is impaired. While a broken arm can be managed, this situation is far more complex. He has no recollection of the incident or its specifics.

It is important for parents to remember that children are naturally curious and may engage in activities that we would typically discourage.

Our thoughts and prayers are with young Tyler and his family during this difficult time.
