At 32 years old, she was viewed by a larger number of people to be an accomplished driver. Essentially nothing remained to be thought, in any case, on that reviled day, something horrendous occurred!

At the age of 32, Courtney Ann Sanford was widely regarded as a skilled driver. However, on that fateful day, an unfortunate event transpired.

After several minutes on the road, she began to play her favorite song on the radio—“Happy” by Pharrell Williams. Clearly in high spirits, she was enjoying her beloved tune.

In a moment of distraction, she reached for her phone, took a selfie, and shared it on Facebook with the caption, “This song makes me happy!”

Tragically, this would be her final action. In the next instant, she lost her life. Like many drivers, she failed to pull over while using her phone, continuing her journey unaware that it would culminate in her last moments.

Her vehicle collided with a truck. Although she was traveling at only 60 km/h, the impact was severe enough to send her car into a ditch and subsequently into a tree. The vehicle caught fire, and she was trapped inside, ultimately perishing in the flames, leaving behind a grieving family.

Upon notifying her family, the police discovered that she had posted on Facebook at the exact moment of the accident. When they examined the phone recovered from the scene, they found that she had shared her post just as the tragic incident occurred.

“The post was made at 8:33. We received the call to respond at 8:34,” stated the officers.
