At least 37 people dead, and many injured in a devastating head-on crash between two buses

At least 37 individuals lost their lives and 39 sustained injuries in a catastrophic bus accident that occurred between Uyuni and Colchani in the Potosi region of Bolivia. Officials report that one bus veered into the opposite lane, likely due to excessive speed, resulting in the deadly collision. A crane was required to retrieve bodies from the debris.

The injured parties were taken to hospitals in Uyuni for medical care, while law enforcement is working to identify the victims.

This incident follows another tragic accident in northwest London, where a collision between a bus and a car on Whitmore Road resulted in one fatality and three injuries. Despite the efforts of paramedics, one individual was declared dead at the scene.

Authorities are actively investigating both events.
