A promising NFL football prospect tragically lost his life in a car accident on Saturday morning, having shared a poignant final post just hours prior. Authorities report that a speeding vehicle was responsible for the deaths of 24-year-old Khyree Jackson and two of his companions. Recently selected by the Minnesota Vikings during the NFL draft, Jackson was a cornerback. Early Saturday, police confirmed that both Jackson and the driver, Hazel, who was also his high school teammate, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Another passenger, Anthony Lytton Jr., who was also a teammate, was transported to the hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries later. On Friday, Jackson had shared a 10-slide Instagram carousel featuring moments from his life, including images from Vikings practice, accompanied by the caption “Mmmhmmm.”

The post also included joyful images of Jackson smiling on a beach with two parrots, showcasing his strength with a lizard, and taking mirror selfies to highlight his fashionable attire. One of the images contrasted “dreamers” and “doers,” depicting a group of individuals labeled as “dreamers” observing a man identified as a “doer” surfing a massive wave.
