Best Horror Movies On Netflix

Netflix is probably one of the most popular streaming platforms in the world right now. To maintain and keep growing under that title, the company leaves no stone unturned in order to keep bringing better shows and movies to their platform. Similar is the case with their horror genre.

It’s no surprise that Netflix has many competitors. And to keep their efficiency intact, they put complete focus on each aspect. However, sometimes a competitor takes the benefit of an edge and claims recognition. Nevertheless, Netflix offers a great deal of names in their horror genre. That also includes some of the classics and newer ones as well.

So here’s a quick list of the best horror movies and series on Netflix currently.

His House (2020)

Now adults, and forced back together in the face of tragedy, the family must finally confront the ghosts of their past, some of which still lurk in their minds while others might actually be stalking the shadows of Hill House.

It Follows (2014)

After sleeping with a handsome stranger, Jay (Maika Monroe) quickly learns that she has inherited a most unusual curse: Wherever she goes, lumbering, half-naked phantoms follow, and their singular goal is to see her dead. Desperate, Jay turns to her younger sister and loyal circle of friends for help. In time, however, Jay learns that her only hope for escaping death is to sleep with someone else and pass on the curse. But the pursuing phantoms are invisible to Jay’s friends and it soon becomes apparent that her time is running out.

Now, with death closing in, the terrified young woman will be forced to make a difficult decision if she hopes to survive her terrifying ordeal.

Edith Cushing’s (Mia Wasikowska) mother died when she was young but watches over her. Brought up in the Victorian Era she strives to be more than just a woman of marriageable age. She becomes enamored with Thomas Sharpe (Tom Hiddleston), a mysterious stranger. After a series of meetings and incidents she marries Thomas and comes to live with him and his sister, Lady Lucille Sharpe (Jessica Chastain), far away from everything she has known. The naive girl soon comes to realize not everything is as it appears as ghosts of the past quite literally come out of the woodwork. This movie is more about mystery and suspense than gore.
