David Hasselhoff speaks out after ex-wife Pamela Bach found dead at 62

David Hasselhoff has paid tribute to ex-wife Pamela Bach after she was found dead at her home this week age 62.

David Hasselhoff has honored the memory of his former wife, Pamela Bach, who was discovered deceased at her residence this week at the age of 62.

Reports indicate that the body of the former Baywatch actress was found at her home in Hollywood Hills on March 5. The Los Angeles Medical Examiner’s office has stated that her death was a result of suicide, according to the BBC.

Bach is survived by her daughters, Haley, 32, and Taylor, 34, both of whom she had with Hasselhoff.

In a statement, Hasselhoff expressed his profound sorrow over Bach’s death. The couple was married for nearly two decades, from 1989 until their divorce in 2006.

“Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff,” his statement reads.

“We appreciate the overwhelming love and support we have received during this challenging time, but we respectfully ask for privacy as we mourn and navigate through this difficult period.”

Hasselhoff and Bach first crossed paths on the set of the classic 1980s series Knight Rider, where he portrayed the legendary character Michael Knight. They married four years later, in December 1989, and welcomed two daughters before their separation in 2006. Following their divorce, they initially shared custody of their children, but Hasselhoff was later granted full custody.

Bach was known for her role in the CBS drama The Young and the Restless and appeared in various productions, including Cheers, The Fall Guy, T.J. Hooker, Superboy, and Viper.

The passing of the 62-year-old follows the recent death of the renowned Gene Hackman, who was found deceased at his home in Santa Fe, New Mexico, last week. Reports indicate that the bodies of Hackman, his wife Betsy Arakawa, and one of their dogs were discovered on February 26. While authorities initially ruled out foul play, recent updates suggest that there may be enough suspicion to warrant a comprehensive investigation.
