Published

on

Technology has been growing at faster rate than any other department or sectorial industry. On top of that, any sort of career in technology is regarded as a great career. Similarly, the mighty payday you get at the end of each month will drive you further closer to this industry.

The U.S. government is looking to develop the tech sector at a quick rate. The U.S. is expected to add 667,000 computers to the IT field accompanied by numerous job openings as well. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labour Statistics, the number of computers and IT jobs will rise by 13% from 2020 to 2030. The reason for such high demand is the growth in information security, data gathering/storage and cloud computing.

However, it doesn’t go as planned with some workers. According to a survey laid out in 2021, 70% of the people stated that they are looking to quit their jobs and subsequently explore new job opportunities. Between the current demand and certain job vacancies, people interested in technology with substantial knowledge might actually find a career path. “Although you may have seen headlines about job cuts in the tech sector, technology remains a good career path,” states Erica Mobley, business development manager at Sentient Digital.

“The tech sector is very broad and hiring needs vary widely by company. In constantly developing fields such as artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, new talent will always be needed.”

How Much Do Tech Jobs Pay?
