In a recent interview with CNN Español, conducted without Netflix’s consent, she addressed the issue, stating, “Of course that’s not mine.” She further emphasized, “I have never said anything about my colleague. I would never refer to her that way.” Despite the alleged comment, Gascón and Gomez shared a brief yet notable interaction during the awards ceremony.
In a widely circulated image on social media, she was observed approaching Gomez, who was seated among the audience at the Dolby Theatre. As she neared, the former Disney Channel star rose, awkwardly kissed her co-star on the cheek, and promptly returned to her seat.
