Who Wrote The Declaration Of Independence

To begin with, independence is one of the most represented to us, humans. Although, independence is different with each history for each person and country. Our question today is who wrote the Declaration of Independence?

As of we know, the Declaration of Independence, was written by committee with Thomas Jefferson of Virginia. He was charged with drafting a formal statement justifying the 13 North American colonies’ break with Great Britain. Jefferson was basically the writer of the declaration with his commitments. His goal was to convince everyone the time has come for the united colonies to declare independence towards mother England. The goal was to rally the troops, gain foreign allies around the world, and to announce the creation of a new country to the world.

But with that on the 4th July, 1776, somehow unanimously adopted the Declaration of Independence. Which announced the colonies separations from the Great Britain.

Jefferson and Adams would reunite famously in their last few years. Both had died on July 4th, 1826. Which was the 50th year of the Declaration. We all recognize Jefferson as the author of the Declaration, but we also are reminded that Jefferson himself claimed there were no new ideas in it.

That’s how it lead to America now being equal to the Great Britain with the phrase “all Men are created equal.” Which is equally beloved by the American people.
