Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills – Facts
You probably wouldn’t know everything about the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The posh ladies of The Hill are living a completely different life when the camera stops rolling.
Here are 5 things you didn’t know about the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Housewives Don’t Really Live In The Hills
Well with absolutely no intention to burst your bubble but yes, the housewives don’t actually live in Beverly Hills. Adrienne and Lisa live in Beverly Park – an exclusive, secluded community in the Hollywood Hills. Brandi Glanville lives in Encino. Camille Grammer has always said that she comes from Malibu. Taylor Armstrong and Kyle Richards both live in Bel-Air. I mean it is true that almost every Housewife has more than one property to live in but we can assure you that it is not only restricted to Beverly Hills.
Major Downfall In 2013
In 2013, the ratings of the show faced a big downgrade. The ratings dropped by a staggering 34%. During the fourth season, again massive drops in the ratings were witnessed. Mighty props to the ladies as they always somehow managed to make a comeback but it hasn’t always been easy for them.
Penny Lancaster Was A Potential Candidate
When Housewives Camille and Adrienne left and the producers were looking to fill in the vacant spot, they came across a worthy candidate. Rod Stewart’s wife, Penny Lancaster was seriously considered as a notable candidate to get cast in the fourth and final season. The prospect was turned into a failure as soon as Rod was heard saying; “She doesn’t want to do that sort of thing,”
Hefty Paycheque
In the beginning, there might not have been a passive income flowing into the pockets of the housewives but it didn’t stay the same. I mean the housewives already had a gigantic bank accounts. So they also really didn’t care about the money and focused more on getting known. When Eileen Davidson joined the cast in 2014, she agreed to a $750,000 paycheque per season. Brandi also got an upgrade from $18,000 to $175,000. However, the two most high earners still remain the original housewives, Lisa and Kyle.
Taylor Armstrong, But Is It Really Taylor?
Taylor Armstrong made a name on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills but she had a different story before that. Before joining the mighty cast of The Hills, Taylor was known as Shana Hughes, from Independence, Kansas.
Shana Hughes legally changed her name to Shana Taylor in 1993 and then again repeated the same process in 2005 and became Taylor Ford. She, at last, became Taylor Armstrong when she tied the knot with Russel Armstrong in 2005.
